The 5-year strategy requires a rigorous timeline for accountability and business-planning. The timeline presents an overview of the

key achievements outlined in the strategy across the 4 priority areas.

· Recruitment process begins for the Sustainability Committee

· All roles are filled and the Committee is implemented.

​

· Sustainability Committee begins to collect collects business, financial, and supplier data to feed into the analysis 

​

· The Committee follows PwC’s EP&L valuation methodologies to complete the first annual report

​

· Environmental Fund: Senior Sustainable Investments Associate is hired and the fund is established.

· Energy Efficiency assessment starts in key buildings across D&G global operations

· Publicly sign the Changing Markets Roadmap and adhere to related disclosures

​

· Ongoing supplier engagement to ensure supplier commitment; begin sourcing alternative suppliers if necessary

​

· Eliminate fur from all upcoming collections and begin final production and sales of existing fur collections

​

· Begin sourcing ethical fur for future collections

​

· Join the Leather Working Group

​

· Sustainability Committee begins supplier engagement for both cotton and leather

· Cease purchases of non-sustainable packaging materials (plastic, ribbons, bubble wrap, tissue paper) and begin phase-out of existing supplier contracts

· Partner with Canopy’s Pack4Good Initiative and begin consultation

​

· Become a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition

· Milan Fashion Week: 1-year partnership starts

· Climate CoLab: 3-year partnership begins

​

· D&E Environmental Fund

· Launch of Environmental Fund

· Online transition starts

· All viscose suppliers are committed to achieving the goals of the Roadmap by 2025 at the latest; suppliers begin to adhere to biannual reporting

· Design ethical fur collections

· Launch 1st Ethical Fur Collection for the Autumn/Winter season

· Newly implemented Sustainability Committee realises the new packaging strategy with new sustainable suppliers

​

· All Single-Use Plastic Packaging Eliminated 

· JIT inventory management implemented begins implementation for approximately 14 months (time of a standard concept to consumer cycle)

2025

· Energy efficiency practices in all offices and company buildings

​

· Digital Expansion to a New Market in SE Asia

· All viscose supplied to Dolce & Gabbana is sustainably sourced
